Brief halt at 7.30am on the 20 mile drive from Kinsgwear to Ashburton for a day of primary supply teaching. The summit shed is now a curvy roof Eco house surrounded by rough grass with open access to summit mound. Residents at home but luckily didn't draw back their curtains just as I was stood on the mound behind their house. There is a verge side encampment off new age travellers just down the road presumably draw to the opportunities to work for Riverside Organics fruit & veg which is big around here and strong on community and nature ethics being employee owned - if you work for them you become an equal co-owner (10% of all, profits are split equally between all co-owners) get 33 days holiday pro rata, generous company pension scheme, heavily discounted organic breakfasts and lunches.Chris Pearson08/03/2024
