Walk up from Stockhill Woods. Showery and cold with a bit of sleety rain. Headed down to Fair LadyWell and back to the car. Time taken 40 minutes for 1.8 miles. Wildlife: Stonechats Mallard and a few Crows.isabelle02/03/2024
From easy parking at ST 53468 52014, ignore both RoWs and follow a dog walkers path up the hillside and follow the fence. No need to climb over fences or wall as there is a locked gate with a GOML sign about 75m short of the summit tumuli.Martin R13/02/2024

Very wet walk up from Stockhill. Just under 30 minutes for 1.1 miles.. Path was very overgrown; nettles and shorts didn’t mix. Saw Linnets and Skylarks no views as summit in clag and heavy rain.isabelle22/07/2023

I parked at Wookey Hole and ran up Ebbor Gorge to the summit. I followed the Monarch's Way back to the car. The weather was breezy with fleeting glimpses of the sun. The cloud was low so no views were had. I did see plenty of wildlife which included: Woodpigeons, Grey Squirrels, Ravens, Crows, Meadow Pipits Great Tits, Blue Tits, Jay , Wren, Robins, Magpies, Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Buzzard and Toad. Time taken 70 minutes for 6.5 miles.isabelle08/10/2019

Walk up from the Old Bristol Road. The weather was sub zero with about a foot of snow on the ground. It was sunny with blue skies and the scenery was stunning. Great views to all the local hills as well as Dartmoor. Did see a distant walker but it was very quiet. Meadow Pipit and Crows seenisabelle02/02/2019
