The alternative summit in Beacon Hill Wood is a lot more interesting.Martin R13/02/2024
Gap in hedge on road to south gives easy access to the top on the golf course.Campbell Singer10/10/2021
Great views over the hedges. If I were only a few inches taller.Barbara Singer10/10/2021
Visited Beacon Hill first: small car park at W end of wood; tumulus topped by a standing stone. Then parked by radio mast: visited trig and summit, via handy gaps in the hedge.PGCE26/05/2021
Essentially a drive over Tump on the way from Clevedon to Westbury (could have done with a SatNav). I did get out, though, and investigate verges, etc.pwheeler16/10/2020
As others, west along Golf course side of hedge.fosal2907/09/2019
Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: Good time to go for this, parked at locked gate at ST 61832 46791, then round the side of gate and along hedge to trigpoint whilst the sun started to set. Surprised this is also a hill http://www.hill-bagging.co.uk/mountaindetails.php?qu=S&rf=17961 Long Hillthejackrustles19/07/2018

Solo. Nice and sunny!CJM04/07/2017
From road to South, gate, along hedge to trig. Banking by hedge slightly higher.PeterD07/05/2017
As Chris Peart. Suspicious looks from a few golfers. I thought the ground was possibly higher towards the trees but not much in it.Herbert Anchovy04/03/2015
Parked at the road junction and took the stile onto the golf course. The summit would seem to be near the trig, although the 297m spot height is around the third tee.Chris Peart02/02/2015
Roadside parking by Warren Farm ent. 150m W to gate to access golf course; double back 100m on N side hedgerow to trig. Hill summit not easy to determine by eye, but somewhere around the trig.jonglew19/08/2014
