Parked at start of ROW to ESE. ROW, then field boundaries to summit. | PGCE | 17/03/2023 |
Not sure which side of the hedge is the ( unmarked) HP but both possible to visit. Accessed via ancient track, having parked in Yarcombe village. | Denise | 27/01/2019 |
Walked up footpath from Yarcombe where there's a flush bracket on the church. Summit is a vast expanse of levelish fields of grass everywhere apparently higher than where you are. | RichardM | 27/01/2019 |
Well, it was sunny on the way down from Birmingham and very sunny a few miles south in Seaton but my first rain of Summer 2018 was on the near 1000ft AMSL uplands of which this hill forms part. A pleasant walk through woodlands - having parked next to the quarry (near the n of Beacon Hill on the 1:25K OS) | M3WDD | 04/08/2018 |
Along ROW and then into pasture with large earth bank. Natural HP to east, but stood on earthbank in case these become treated like Bings. | PeterD | 13/05/2018 |
From 198m spot height on A30, narrow pull in for 1 car. Checked both sides of hedgerow; HP could be either side. | jonglew | 20/02/2018 |
From se, via RoW, natural hp in pasture with hedge bank to W a foot higher | RHW | 25/02/2017 |
