Intended to do a loop of Beacon Hill, Pythhouse Hill and Knoyle hill but beacon hill is very much on private property, however I see the abbey open it's grounds around May. most years so I will attempt that hill then. I did some geocaching around Knoyle hill and bagged the summit, then parked in lay-by so could go stand at the trig at Pythouse hillstagger onward10/09/2022
The high point is in vicinity of reservoir. Trig pillar on opposite side of road. A large free range chicken shed with outdoor run with electric fence is currently for barn hens as avian flu restricts bird movementscjo20/04/2022
Mere to Tisbury. Revisit - tall nettles deterred detailed examination of the (natural) summit zone.Smudge29/10/2021

Opposite side of road to trig in scrubby woodland, all very level. The small covered reservoir is the HP but unnatural. In fading light but a good walk around.Denise 11/01/2020
Large levelish summit in messy woodland. Indistinct high point. Last of the day in fading light. Now for the walk back to East Knoyle.RichardM11/01/2020
Quick visit to trig, then to reservoir and then to nearby high point just in from road.PeterD09/06/2019

Nipped in and out from road between tractor movements. Followed enthusiastically as ever by the dogs who wonderfully have no concept of keeping a low profile. 2nd of 5 TuMP day walk with L (and the dogs)from Semley.Chris Pearson13/04/2017
I parked at the reservoir and the summit was just through the hedge.Chris Peart10/06/2015
