Car park off road subject to closure as on army range. Open most weekend, but closed on some - check online to avoid disappointment. Cloud down on the ridge this morning; wet, miserable and no views.jonglew12/07/2015

From view point car park at SY 88811 81137. The car park is very close to the summit of Povington Hill but by doing Whiteway Hill first there’s a ‘satisfying’ 45m of ascent back up to the summit. The highest point is near a stone bench about 100m west of the car park at SY 88882 81148.David Gradwell31/03/2012
On SW Coast Path - had to use this road to avoid the danger area - the shorter of the diversions as this lovely country lane was open - sometimes this is closed by MOD too!nickywood116/09/2011
