Solo. Parked in large layby on the A3072 to the East. Find another route! Scratched myself to pieces trying to get through two hedgerows out and back. | MickyRoss | 12/07/2021 |
Parked on verge on main road to the south. 2 fences/hedges to cross but avoided farms. | Adrian | 29/03/2019 |
From w, track, gate, arable field with tramlines to well defined hp. | RHW | 30/06/2016 |
From Fursdon hill i walked through Hallshot wood and followed the edge of the wood to its Ne corner. Had to climb over two wire fences to enable me to drop down and join track next to house. Another route would be preferable
I followed track to Chilton and would have followed unclassified road leading up to the A3072 Se of Round hill if it were not for the padlocked gate with extra barbed wire decorating the top!!

I followed the minor rd leading to the A3072 at Chilton gate instead. Followed verge for about 50m and in corner of fences climbed over three adjoining fences to reach the bare hill. Lovely looking hill. Retraced steps. | Dazingdale | 04/01/2014 |
