New Years Day walk from Beaminster. A pleasant viewpoint over the rolling hills.meltdiceburg01/01/2022
Parked in Stoke Abbott for a circuit of Waddon Hill, Gerrard's Hill and Beaminster Hill. ROW NE, then over gate into field. Gate into woods, then up old nettley track to top of wood. Over new fence, and along field boundary, then across to summit. Directly down N side over two fences to ROW. No GOML signs encountered. Onwards on ROW to Gerrard's Hill: visited summit and trig.PGCE21/04/2021
Parked in Beaminster to go over Gerrad's Hill then tried to do Waddon Hill still a complete no go they are still putting fences up in the area. Then onto Lewesdon Hill from the Wessex Ridgeway surprising how steep the drop is on the South side, the shape of some of the Beech trees coming down the South side a worth a look.philhythe15/09/2020

Having ‘bagged’ Eggardon hill early I drove to Broadwindsor and parked by the village store. Breakfast pastry purchases before a 10.5 mile walk up to Lewesdon hill before heading back down to pick up bridleway and road to Pilsdon Pen. Heading down to Stoke Abott using roads and Bridle Paths and the Jubilee Way to Stoke Abbott then up to Chartknolle Farm out and back to Gerrard's Hill. Headed back to Broadwindsor via Waddon Hill which is clearly a hill the landowner does not want you to walk up!Buck03/08/2019
A tiny gem of a hill after all the notices on Waddon Hill. En route from Pilsdon Pen to Beaminster via 5 hills. At the foot of this hill there is a small wood managed by The Woodland Trust where the signs welcome visitors in direct contrast to Waddon Hilltrimarc220/11/2018

8.5 mile walk from car park south of Pilsdon Pen, walked down country lane south-east and onto Jubilee Way to Stoke Abbott (very posh village), up better path to Chartknolle Farm out and back to Gerrard's Hill, then west along Wessex Ridgeway onto Lewesdon Hill, along to B-road and climbed Pilsdon Pen from North, back to car park. Then drove to and bagged Lambert's Castle Hill and Colmers Hill. Lovely and sunny with nice breeze.DanTrig22/05/2017
Final top of day, small diversion off ridgeway path. Trig fractionally lower than viewpoint over Lewesdon Hill at other end of trees.Buteobuteo25/11/2016

On Litton Cheney Trig Baggers weekend. Parking on B3163 for this and Beaminster Hill. A fine looking hill, rivalling Colmer's Hill for best of the weekend. Pleasant approach on RoW through managed woodland area then steeply up pasture to top of hill with mature beech trees and trig pillar.jonglew29/03/2015
