| Parked near railway bridge, walked up road and then along track by cottage. Gate into pasture and an open gate into field with water tank. Also checked out alternative top. | PeterD | 18/09/2022 |
| Parked in layby W of Coker Wood Cottage. Track up inside wood, then over broken gap in wall, and over bwf (with the aid of a tree) into summit field. Visited summit by cistern, then to alternative highpoint via gates. | PGCE | 04/06/2022 |
| Tracks through wood from near railwaybridge are easy walking although signs indicating poaching takes place. The track ends abruptly and in a bramblefest. Not pleasant at all. Returned down track at side of wood/field via cottage. | cjo | 29/12/2021 |

| Every gate has (NO ENTRY WORKING FARM). Anyway parked in a layby near Coker Wood Cott. There is a track along the inside edge of Coker Wood. At the end of the stone wall is a single gate giving easy access to a pasture next to the pasture with the cistern. | Judging by the signs on every gate the farmer is of the GOML persuasion. Ignored the signs and parked close to gate to the N and followed track along the edge of Coker Wood. Had to climb over dry stone wall, battle through a thin curtain of scrub and climb a bw fence to access the field with the circular concrete thing. Whether it's a nuclear fallout shelter, prison for abducted Albanians or reservoir I couldn't say but the efforts to keep people of this land made me suspect the worst. | Herbert Anchovy | 29/04/2015 |
