Our holiday cottage looked across to this small hill 3km away. We walked there and back skirting the edge of the extended suburbs of Barnstaple. The hardest part was crossing the main A361. Gate from west led past a small old quarry / dump to top. The old Rover engine block remains in-situ . The stone seat gives far reaching views over Barnstaple and the Taw estuary.A good place to sit to draw a diagram of overlapping circles perhaps? | Chris Pearson | 07/04/2016 |
Walked up to try and find Hill Farm Block. No luck. Old Engine and constructed stone seat at top. | Dusty | 23/04/2015 |
