Parked in the free car park in Selborne, near the Selborne Arms pub. Up the zig zags and then a wander around the summit plateau until we were satisfied we'd stood on the summit. There was a fair amount of snow underfoot, which was a surprise. Walk continued to Noar Hill. With ST, JT and HT.Sprog28/12/2017

with L & Betty(Jack Russell)on a 3 hour 4 Tump circuit from Selborne through thick mud in driving mizzle (not quite drizzle) starting up the zig zags. A sign tells that they were cut by Gilbert White (a pioneering birdwatcher) and his brother, who is rather sidelined in the credit for the considerable effort undertaken.Chris Pearson31/01/2016
Large car park in the village for Gilbert White Field Study Centre. Steep walk up well-made zig-zag track to flat partially wooded summit plateau. Not easy to determine a precise HP.jonglew29/04/2015
