RoW path conveniently crosses the summit area. High point in vicinity of garage and large plastic tank. Nice Redwoods and snow drops in lawn beside the path. A bright and chilly morning. | RichardM | 25/02/2022 |
Parking to South as others, along FPs and then short detour behind parked van to HP near garage. | PeterD | 21/01/2022 |
Nice to have somewhere to park for this one. An obvious path through the narrow strip of woodland and the garage a trivial detour from the ROW. | milimana | 17/12/2021 |
As others from the parking spots off the track. Went up steps to reservoir for good views NW- the wooded common, though pleasant to walk through, had no distant views, neither did the HP between gardens right by a RoW. After a pint in the homely Red Lion in Turner,s Hill. | pwheeler | 21/10/2021 |
Parked at start of track, as others. Evening visit to summit. | PGCE | 30/12/2020 |

With Rosalie, parked in 1 of 3 available spaces close to turn off main road. Walked along various well-marked footpaths around Common, one close to a water tower I've never seen from the road despite being passed it many times. | JOHNS | 30/04/2017 |
HP at a natural looking tree covered mound between double garage block and oil tank. | jonglew | 16/03/2016 |
Parked to south. Followed path/track. Garage 5 or 6 metres off footpath. | destaylor | 20/01/2016 |
From SW, parking at start of private road thrn RoW. Highpoint by a garage a few metres south of RoW. Lovely quiet neighbourhood | RHW | 28/06/2015 |
NT parking bays at start of track from SW. Our incredible public footpath network leads here through the front garden of Selsfield House(which would normally be very private, with keep out signs and security cameras). The top lies in front of the house alongside a garage. | Chris Pearson | 12/01/2015 |
