Solo from the Trundle Car park. Path to the top then down to the Triangle and on to Singleton. Lovely church in Singleton before heading to Levin Down. Wandered around the access land, some deer and plenty of cattle to be seen in the woods. Across to Court hill and the Trig point where plenty of deer were seen in the woods. Through East Dean and followed the bridal path back to St Roche's Hill and the car parkBuck01/11/2020

With: solo; From Levin Down followed the paths round then took the Literary Trail into Wood Lea then the footpath SE. I carefully crossed the electric fence enclosing the upper field and the top fence to gain the upper field by the wood. Descended back down Literary Trail then the path to Charlton for a drink in the Fox goes Free.Ian Baines10/08/2019
On afternoon walk: Goodwood triangle- East Dean- Court Hill- Levin Down- Singleton- triangle and St. Roche's Down (qv log). The Goodwood estate has no open access on my route as far as Court Hill, though it was possible to walk on wide verges by the racecourse and ca. 300 yds in the woodland to avoid busy roads. I went up the track, rather than the ROW, to get on to Court Hill; little tracks in wood to HP. Sunny.pwheeler08/07/2019

From East Dean, parking in church carpark. Took direct line past Halfmoon Piece to woodland hilltop. Goodwood Estate land, usual Keep Out signs noticeably absent. HP in managed mixed woodland, lot of brash, flatish top, pick your point. Re-visited trig pillar, still 50m or so out of position.jonglew02/02/2016
After Levin Down, Level plantation summit. Drizzly circuit from Charlton. Revisited trig pillar on descent.RHW24/01/2016
Walked up from East Dean but inadvertently strayed off the footpath to reach the Trigpoint.G4TSQ04/02/2015
2 hr walk from Singleton with L After Levin Down in a brief dry spell between heavy driving rain showers. Comical ascent of steep slippery mud bank on f'path at bottom then a detour across stuble field and into the summit wood- lots of awkward brashings , no obvious top - also took in trig (slightly lower) Betty (Jack Russell) dunked in R Lavant (often dry in summer) to clean the mud off her before getting back in car.Chris Pearson03/01/2015
Walked across from Levin Down. First approached from the north but due to crop was unable to reach summit from this direction. Eventually found tyre tracks through crop to get to east end of the wood. Top probably chalky mound in trees. Track from East Dean would work but would pass signs saying keep out.garyhoney22/06/2013
