Standard route up Fell Shin from parking 200m south of Culter Allers farm. Good path all the way thankfully, given the cloud base at 450m.Owen B30/04/2023
Started off from Glenkirk and then Chapelgill Hill, Cardon Hill, Culter Fell and back down over Congrie Hill. Great views if Tinto and Biggar.tsharp30/03/2023
Final Donald: Assembled seven folk at the Castleview Park and Ride in Stirling, travelled down in two cars, where we were met by four others in another two cars. Group included; my Dad, Dave Gordon, June Beattie, Stuart MacFarlane, Stuart Ramage, Tricia Teeling, Andy Whitehead, Chris Brisbane, Alex McBride and Chelsea Murray. We followed the obvious shoulder up Fell Shin and onto Culter Fell. The ascent was fine, apart from the driving rain and relentless wind, which made it a struggle. No views above 400m, some fleeting glimpses while on the summit. But the clouds cleared to give a decent view to the north. Thats the Donalds & Tops now completechillyman801/10/2022

Parked in layby at end of public road. Saw a white pheasant when walking on private road so that was a treat. Straight forward well trodden route up, with a wide spectrum of weather in a short time! Got to love scorching sun then sideways stinging rain. Great views a bit spoiled by the windfarms, but still an enjoyable walk.Eliza10013/08/2019
A nice walk from Glenkirk, over Congrie Hill on a good track then a path all the way to Culter Fell, for Marilyn No. 1200. On to Gathersnow Hill taking a direct route up from Holm Nick on sheep trods and short grass and bilberry higher up. Met Alda on the way down. Down via Coomb Hill to Holms Waterhead on a vague path, then heather and long grass to a rough ATV track through deep heather, improving lower down. Excellent cafe in Broughton, open until 18.00Gill08/07/2019

Solo from col with Birnie's Bowrock and Cardon Hill, up on faint path beside regional boundary to reach Trig Pillar. Observed three (?) people and black dog approaching summit from W: waved but didn't wait their arrival as the hooley was chilling me. Descended N to col and veered to E to pick up atv (faint) track going over Congrie Hill and down to road to reach P at Glenkirk. First visit was with KHWC on Graham round, on 11/03/2006.jacobus19/11/2018
