Last hill of a 6 summit loop. Detour off of track into bare crop field, indistinct summit, made a quick getaway. | fnem | 04/12/2022 |

Not as lucky as Adrian as no horseshoe found at summit this time. | Dugswell2 | 03/09/2019 |
Walked from Highclere Castle to Sidown Hill, Beacon Hill and Windbolts Hill. About 2 hours. The field where the summit is had recently had a barley crop harvested so I was able to walk around. | clivevilla | 08/08/2018 |

Was going to climb from west after Caveley Hill but thought I'd have a look at the east track I could just make out on my black and white photocopied map. Was just thinking it looked motorable but wouldn't make people pleased and happy when I noticed an old wooden sign saying 'byway' so decided to try and drive it in the dark in my poor old Corolla. Made it to a point just before the crossroads, turned the car round and proceeded on foot. A mildly adventurous end to a good day. | Wycombe Wanderer | 27/12/2016 |

Hill 2 of 6 hill,15 km jog/walk circular in 2:50 from Old Burghclere. Slight detour into field for this ex-tump. The Brenda Parker Way passes along here -named in recognition of her lifetime of service to Ramblers and Rights of Way in the area. | Chris Pearson | 12/10/2016 |

Walked up the byway from the east top easily visible is the telegraph pole or very near to it | philhythe | 15/11/2015 |
Walked carefully over the field (turnips growing ) in the fog to the high point near the telegraph pole. | DanMaisieBex | 02/11/2015 |
On a short round from the Beacon Hill carpark to bag Caveley Hill, went over top of this one also. Approached from E on byway then deviated over arable field to HP. Nothing much of interest here - unless you like mud! | jonglew | 08/01/2015 |
