Burnpit Wood (SE of Dormansland)- Dry Hill Farm-HP-Stonehursts- Burnpit Wood. Nice walk for a fine day with a light covering of snow. The E coast had a lot but W of Reigate Hill there was none on the S. slopes: I drove over to enjoy the wintery scene: NB road to Dry Hill farm is tarmac. Good views, access by gate to N and stile to S of trig point. Good extensive viewspwheeler12/02/2021

I parked at the end of lane leading to the farms and walked the mile or so up the bridle way to the pillar, it is in very good condition and is located about 50m off the bridle way in a fenced field (no crops) - This is my second visit to this one but as that was 30 plus years ago as a Boy Scout, i figured it did not count!griefmiester03/03/2009
