From layby on south side of A30, near 105 spot height. Along field edge to ROW. Summit now in open field. Height is about equal with the top of Salisbury cathedral.PGCE24/09/2020
From the Duck pub at Laverstock, roadside parking. Then up onto the downs on well used RoW, with nice views west over Salisbury as sun set. HP indistinct by some trees.Denise 14/11/2019
From the Duck Inn, Laverstock. Good path along chalk downland then BWF to field of stubble. Indistinct high point on large level summit. NW-SE mapped fence no longer present.RichardM14/11/2019
Same stroll / waddle as the previous Chris from The Duck in Laverstock where unusually 3 secondary schools sit side by side. All have large playing fields such is the amount of wide open space at the foot of this sweeping chalk downland .. took in the trigless reservoir as per RHW. Then onto explore a potential new SIB in the heart of Salisbury - Henham Water Meadows 84 acres. Encircled by the Rivers Avon and Nadder. 1 week too soon for the annual public flooding of the meadows.Chris Pearson27/01/2019
From the Duck Inn along ROW, then up to HP.PeterD11/11/2018
Parked at the Duck Inn, Laverstock, then by ROW's to below summit. The field boundary and shelter belt on NE side no longer exist so I had to follow tractor lines through the crop.Chris Peart05/02/2017

As RHW. Lots of red legs about and a few traps were set up for them. Patch of game cover and band of trees near summit.Herbert Anchovy17/09/2015
Parking at Figsbury Ring car park. PROWs, farm tracks and finally field boundary to hill top sited on wide strip between arable fields, which has been stripped of trees recently. Broad top, no obvious summit point.jonglew31/07/2014
