I felt obliged to bag this non-hill after realising it appeared on the 'all hills in Greater London' search. Good job it's within walking distance from where I live.Richard16/11/2020
First of four running todaylerritt31/10/2020
Cycled from Battersea. Steep hill on a bike!Rockdoctor14/06/2020
Bus/train/train from Lauriston Road (Wimbledon) via Raynes Park and Clapham Junction. Guessed high point was up at/near transmitter which can be seen from Forest Hill station. GPS suggested it was on the corner to the NW of the mast.jedthehumanoid29/06/2019
A little disappointing after the delights and views of the neighbouring One Tree Hill. Summit in housing with a well kept but fenced green. Fairly level summit area but I'd go for the pavement by the tree outside No.28.RichardM09/03/2019
From Forest Hill station, early morning. Good view in clear air. Agree with others that the top seems to be at the triangular park in the shadow of the mast.Moorponder11/02/2019
Walked from Sydenham Hill and then around looking for the HP. Back down to Forest Hill station. At least this top gives the feel of a hill.Andrew Pearson08/01/2019
Another excellent London road. 37km run from Madia Vale over the 'mountain ridge' of South London. Accompanied by bike by trimarc2Fionalevey14/09/2018
Hp seems to be the large mature tree growing out of the pavement. Fine views west from the road junction to the south.Campbell Singer05/08/2018
Train from Victoria to Gypsy Hill then walked to Crystal Palace, Westow Hill, Sydenham Hill and Forest Hill before taking the train back from Forest Hill.clivevilla04/08/2018

Walked up from Honor Oak railway station via One Tree Hill (good view) to the fenced triangular green on the summit. Continued to the Horniman Museum, Dulwich Park, Dulwich Art Gallery, Belair Park and finishing at West Dulwich Railway Station. Solo.Man of Kernow116/05/2018
Travelcard Tump from Shooters Hill- bus to Lewisham then trains/walk through New Cross to Forest Hill sta. Pleasant walk from sta., up via David's Rd, back via Horniman Gardenspwheeler17/04/2018
Late evening saunter from Forest Hill station. Uphill through quiet streets, guided by the lights on a mast near the summit. The high point seems to be a tree in the pavement of Liphook Crescent, opposite the triangular mini-park.Nick Down105/03/2018
Walked from Crystal Palace TuMP with elevenses stop at the cafe at the excellent & free Horniman Museum, which is far more interesting than the top itself. Obvious high point along pavement near road junction. Opportunist bagging whilst staying in London for a few days to attend a Witness Familiarisation Course, or learning how to survive being cross-examined in court. 29 years of marriage good relevant experience too!Hillsidenick08/01/2018
On run from hotel in Holburn while on training course. Easy to find summit on road.stever04/12/2017
Good views round the corner of Ringmore Risesqueegs31/03/2017
Day out on the Tube doing a circuit of the Tumps. Out and back from Overground Station.rhalstead25/02/2017
I'm glad I live in Scotland. These English hills are just so difficult. Finding the exact top is like being blindfolded and trying to stick the tail on a donkey in a spin dryer.chrisbien25/02/2017
Parked by triangular grassed area and had a wander around and down road to tree to south.PeterD25/11/2016
The last of 4 tops visited today. A brief detour from the Green Chain Walk, coming out of the Horniman Museum gate, uphill and first on the left and on for a 100 metres. Lunch in the Horniman was excellent.Sixtyplus15/08/2016
Walked up from Honor Oak Park Station. Highest point is the triangular area of green or the road to the East. No view due to the houses but if you walk down to the west and into the Museum Gardens a wonderful view to the North of London opens up.Swindon Bagger08/08/2016
Parked on Liphook Crescent. HP by triangular fenced-off grassed area bounded by Liphook Cresc and Horniman Drive.jonglew20/07/2016

From Forest Hill Overground station. At least you have to walk uphill.destaylor15/01/2016
Close to Penge which means clearing in a forest. A tiny garden size triangle of tress exists on the summit surrounded by houses. 1 hr evening road walk by streetlight form Crystal PalaceChris Pearson17/12/2015
Walked up this from Forest Hill Station on a horrible day of heavy showers then went to do Sydenham Hill directly afterwards.Dragonzilla13/09/2015

Liphook Cres W footway at Horniman Drive jct. This completes the Greater London P30 summits for me - not the most interesting choice of completion hill!RHW15/02/2015
Came in from Forest Hill Station after a day's course in London. Walked up here despite being close to it on many occasions.steverd14/10/2014
