Drove past Mottisfont, over the River Test- a lovely place. Then I parked in Spearywell car park (315277), S down B road & up track to farm. No-one there so scouted around for HP at the back, returned through access woodland. Peasant little circuit except the few yds on the busy B road. | pwheeler | 11/02/2022 |
From NT car park. Path through wood, then across stubble field. | PGCE | 12/10/2021 |
Flat easy summit on National Trust land | freethehilltops | 28/02/2021 |
HP is on N side of farm buildings, accessed from rough ground to the west. Indistinct. All rather level. Lovely walk on clear sunny autumnal day | Denise | 25/09/2020 |
From Strouds Hill crossing the clear water of the multi channeled River Test. Farm yard area at rear of house easily accessed by field margin. Levelish summit, Cadbury farm house possibly built on the high point. | RichardM | 25/09/2020 |
From NT car park, along tracks and then across ploughed field to HP. | PeterD | 05/10/2017 |
A minor diversion from the Mottisfont circular walk. Summit next to farm in field. | sooztops | 29/03/2017 |
Hard not to think of chocolate here, and for me the Cadbury certificate and tin of chocolate I proudly won at the age of 7 (a while back) for writing about how chocolate was made.I somehow still have the certificate and (empty) tin -an early collecting trait was clearly in place. Today I added the summit to my 'Cadbury' collection once a truck chopping wood behind the farmhouse handily left. | Chris Pearson | 05/12/2016 |
