Parked just before the locked gate (NX 4765 9411). Good dirt road until due E of the hill, then steeply up rough, clear-fell ground. 2 tiny 300m ring contours, the southerly one is a big rounded outcrop, and is just out of the trees, and seemed the higher of the 2.jonglew11/04/2024
From Craigmawhannal via obvious FB & forest road to passed old quarry then up reasonable FB to near top. Back down N through old bracken, forest drive back to car.agentmancuso16/11/2019
Up the side of the unfelled trees from Starr. In a couple of years the summit will be impossible to access as the trees are growing fast.Thearlaichdubh26/05/2019
biked up from forest drive to hp of track near starr, then along edge of trees, top is in between sitka and larch trees.robertphillips28/10/2018
5th top of the day after climbing Wee hill of Craigmulloch, Craiglee and the old and new Waterheads then finding i had dropped my car keys i meticulously and painstakingly re-traced my route to the car only to find somebody had found them! So at 3pm i followed my route in reverse, accessing this route from the forest track through bluebells and bracken before ascending to the tracks. I checked both sides for highest point. On descent just before rejoining track i had my packed lunch.Dazingdale08/05/2017
From Loch Doon, road to Start then directly up, through a mix of brash, old bracken and tussocks. The summit, at least, was pleasant and clear of treesColin Crawford04/05/2017
P just N of Carrick Lane. Forest track then wet grassy track almost to summit. Up N Top on way back. Horrible tussocks.chrisbien21/03/2016
