Indirect red trail from carpark, more direct route back. The miner themed sundial added interest.cjo17/08/2019

Fancied popping somewhere new for a little walk and a chat with a friend. Perfect place! Many routes to walk here, easy parking, fairly satisfying summit. Well hidden walking area.tumpawumpa11/04/2018
From large car park to the South, in the Bonc yr Hafod country park. Easy angled tracks to top. Sundial was an hour fast - should have moved stones back an hour on 29th Oct..!Aye Jimmy26/11/2017

Loads of parking. Boots not required. A well graded path all the way up to larger miner sundial which I thought was a bit slow.. Lots of decorated marker posts and info boards. Worth an hour of anyones time. Shame about the road noise.stig_nest11/05/2017
Parked at 311471. Good paths to summit.ngthack21/02/2017
Parking: Car Park SJ 312 465 (plenty of room for many cars).David Evans23/01/2017
From N, pull-in and stile, then network of paths. Doubtless other parking elsewhere as plenty of folk about. Former spoil heap of Hafod colliery, nicely landscaped. My penultimate Wrexham P30, should have left it til last as the other 3 this pm rather prosaic!RHW18/10/2015
Country Park with large sundial sculpture at summit. I estimate top to be at 311468. Parked by a stile opposite farm at 311471: good path line to top.GordonAdshead14/02/2015
