At least one log needs unticked as viewed summit but failed to reach it. | Dugswell2 | 11/09/2023 |
Canmore website described ascent route as “Access to the stack is obtained by means of a grassy incline at the East end of the geo”. This description is reasonable, in the geo it is possible to land on the slabs and scramble up the rock to the grassy incline. I landed by boat and found that it is better to stick towards the edge of the grass initially rather than straight up as there is lots of loose rock but grass was solid enough. Building remains seen on top. Summit grid ref HU 67145 93150, 35m elevation. Solo ascent - no one else fancied it. | assynt_bob | 04/08/2021 |
