Space for two cars at Pt 407 SH 85096 59769. Through gate, step over fence and pick up track at turbine no.T14. To avoid any bwf keep on track past last turbine, T01,to second gate at SH 84626 61382. Double back to gate into summit field. No drama, no torn clothing. Choose a day (sunset?) with little cloud on the Snowdonia hills to ameliorate the ugliness of the turbines. | Martin R | 06/08/2023 |
As gerrybowes. It feels quite remote out there. | clivevilla | 31/10/2022 |

Used main turbine access track from N (deserted Sunday evening). Took readings at two points in pasture outside the turbine compound. | Aye Jimmy | 08/07/2018 |
From Maelogen Bach. Footpath south hard to follow and area to west of wind farm infested with electric cattle fences | JamesD1972 | 21/08/2017 |

Beautiful crystal clear day. Me and Alf. Parked by Maelogen Bach - footpath south and circuit back past Ffrith Uchaf. Snowdonian hills glorious! | jrj | 29/11/2016 |

Continuation of walk from Ffrithuchaf. Followed RoW south to lane, then took the road west to just beyond its highest point at a sheepfold. Then tried to take RoW north, but no sign of a path and very rough weedy boggy ground. Eventually found a spot where the barbed wire fence had collapsed (SH 84213 60936), crossed over and took a circuitous route up to the summit through sheep pastures, avoiding barbed wire fences by various gates. To descend, followed wind-farm track first east, then south to the turbine nearest the road (Turbine T14). There the track finished, but a sagging barbed wire fence followed by a gate brought me back to the lane at SH 85094 59766 without difficulty. From there it was an easy 3km walk north-east back down to Gwytherin. Solo. | Man of Kernow1 | 04/10/2015 |
