After Hir Ynys, round to W end for wooded climb via W ridge, sunny view, fascinating landscape. #2 of 5 from SH614398 | RHW | 16/12/2017 |
Solo: Penrhyndeudraeth - Pen-y-bwlch - Pen Ty-fry - Ynys Berfedd - Penrhyn-isaf - Porthmadog. Attempted but beaten back by head-high brambles and the necessity of climbing a fence in full view of the farmhouse at Bwlch-glas. Think the E ridge is the only way though. Will return. | Mark Jackson | 22/08/2016 |
Evening run from Penrhyn taking in Pen-Ty-fry, Ynys Glog and Ynys Berfedd. This one was another scramble through trees but when you reach the top you are above the stunted trees. | Herbert Anchovy | 20/02/2015 |
