From the parking area just past the entrance to Langhaugh. Over the bridge to Langhaugh, up the LHS ofvthe forest through a gate ATV track over Langhaugh Hill then to within 300m of summit of Black Cleuch Hill at which point headed for the fence. Then followed the ridge to Black Law, Conscleuch Head, Deer Law, rough cross country to Greenside Law then ATV track to Notman Law. Then followed grassy ridge down n to pick up track at head of Manor Valley. Along track then road back to car. 11.9 miles, out 6hrs.JulieB18/02/2024
Round of southern hills of manor water catchment with JulieB. Some boggy ground and a couple of steep ascents.cjo18/02/2024
Parked at the viewing area and followed the path up through the farmyard until I was directly east of the hill. Bit of a battle against a very strong westerly, a sign of things to come.JAdair9705/02/2024

From Megget dam up track then open hill to Greenside Law. Then down to pick up Thief's Road until close to Notman Law which was visited. Then easy angle north west to main track and a return to the road and back to dam.SS17/05/2023
From the reservoir car park. Up the road to Meggethead, then upon passing the last fence on the N side of the road followed this fence onto the open SE flank of Wylies Hill. From its summit a series of ATV/deer paths give good access to Broad Law. Down to the non-tops of Tods Knowe & Lamb Knowe, then doubled back to the col SE of Polmood Craig to get onto the FP up to Cramalt Craig. The nicest section of the walk was over to Dun Law, Fifescar Knowe & Dollar Law. Returned to Thief's Road, which helps with a quick walk to Notman Law. Then a fence line to Shielhope Head and Greenside Law, including its S Top. A contour round to Rig Head and finally Pykestone Brae. A steep grassy descent to the track below then a seemingly endless walk back along the road to the camper. 6hrs total.summitter05/02/2023
A revisit. Parked at the dam viewing area and walked up via the ROW to Manor Water, starting at New Craigierig. I came back to bag the South Top as my final Deleted Donald Top. Solo.Dangerous Dave03/02/2023

Track and hack from Megget dam car park. On to South Top.Wycombe Wanderer13/08/2022
Parked at the end of public road, for back of ten, headed straight up Dollar Law, south to Fifescar Knowe, Norman Law, then around to Greenside Law. On the way up Black Law, I decided to contour around the south slope, which was a mistake, to many peat hags. Conscleuch Head was uninteresting, Deer Law has a nice stone feature for the a summit. I returned back over Conscleuch Head then up Black Law then north to Black Cleuch Hill. Descended west to rejoin the valley and walk north back up the to road to the car. Sunny all day, 07:50hrs all in.chillyman809/07/2022
Black Cleuch Hill, Black Law, Greenside Law, Notman Law, Fifescar Knowe and Dollar Law. Long tromp down through the heather and bilberries.tsharp23/06/2022
Parking at Megget Reservoir. ATV starts at U-bend (NT195231) up to around back of barn, but fizzles out before it reaches the intake fence. Grass corridors can be linked up, but then the final heathery dome has to be tackled to Clockmore. Summit is bad tussocks and it is rough going to meet faint ATV track at about NT180237. ATV improves up to Cramalt Craig. Good ATV to Dun Law, Fifescar Knowe, Dollar Law, Notman Law, then deteriorates over Shielhope Head, rough going to Lair Knowe, Greenside Law, then fair ATV toward Black Rig, then RoW to Craigierig.Isbjorn04/06/2022
From mapped car park to SSE (NT 2013 2296). Pykestone Brae and Greenside Law S Top first, then short walk over good ground to here. On to Shielhope Head, Notman Law, Fifescar Knowe, Dollar Law and return for a pleasant 14.8k round.jonglew16/04/2022
Up from Glengaber Burn, pretty grim going until the track is crossedColin Crawford23/03/2022

Parked at Langhaugh. Headed up the Megget path before cutting up on to this one. Carried on round over Dollar Law and back down via Kirkhope. Was up trying to find OS BMs. Only found 3 but that's better than nothing.BigJ27/12/2021
CW circuit from parking area N of Kirkhope bridge. Across stepping stones and up sheep trods to Langhaugh Hill, its summit marked by a rain gauge, Black Cleuch Heights, a detour to White Cleuch Heights, Black Law and its SW Top, Conscleuch Head, Deer Law, across some quite rough terrain to Greenside Law and its S Top, Shielhope Head, Notman Law, Fifescar Howe, Dollar Law and NE along the fence to the road.Nick Down117/07/2021

Manorhead Horseshoe - Dollar Law, Fifescar Knowe, Norman Law, Greenside Law, Deer Law, Conscleuch Law, Black Law and Black Cleuch Hill. 11.5 miles. 3011ft ascentDaveGraham 19/04/2021
The descent and ascent to Conscleugh Head and subsequently to Deer Law were straightforward. I was begining to consider opting out of Greenside Law, but I made a hash of planning the next leg to pick up the Manor-Meggett path. I had not checked to see that the path was beyond the Glengaber burn. Having descended into the Glengaber burn watercourse there was little to choice but to continue up the steep hill on the other side. The underfoot conditions were truly horrible - thick heather with moss. It was like walking in soft sand or snow. Fortunately, I decided to continue to Greenside Law as otherwise I might have missed the real path with the cairn at its high point. The continuation to Greenside Law seemed longer than on the map, but I got there. It was then a straightforward descent to pick up the Meggett-Manor path albeit the rise after Foulbrig was unwelcome. Once I got back to the road I picked up the pace.langskill08/10/2020

From parking area on N. side of bridge at 199307, the last of 5 Donalds on E. side of the Manor valley, starting with Black Cleuch Hill. From Deer Law, W. across rough grass & heather - Over Stony Cleuch & crossed Glengaber Burn at 212256 - Up over heather & tussock past the grouse butts & dilapidated hut to vehicle track - Left along track to cairn at high point & then a steady climb to summit. Descended NE to join track - Track & road walk back to car. (S)gerrybowes03/09/2019
A long walk through from Cramalt parking spot at Loch Megget to Glenrath Farm. With B and R. Lucky to be blown along by a southerly wind.jenx21/04/2019
Between this and Shielhope some good views up Manorhead. Had to deviate from fence to claim this peak, felt very daring...... Company: Soloiandesbottes25/03/2019
From Megget Reservoir car park out by track then angling up around 540m mark. Returned closer to fence line then to high point on tack and back to car. Storm on the way.SS03/03/2019
From Black Law. Dropped off the S slopes of Redsike Head to reach the track just NE of Greenside Law (this was rough ground-it would be better to stay on top of Redsike Head to reach the track at the high point). Crossed the track and headed directly for the summit. Descended the E shoulder to the good track back to Craigierig, and the car parked at the Megget Dam.LizH14/02/2019
Last day of a New Year week in Peebles. Parked where the RoW leading to the Megget Reservoir leaves the Manorhead road. Space for about 3 cars. Enjoyed a very easy stroll up to the pile of stones marking the high point of the RoW. An ATV track/path leads easily W to the summit of Greenside Law. Back to the RoW making a short detour for the S summit. The next bit was much easier than it looked. A path leads E to a shed & then continues faintly down Black Rig to cross the burn at about NT212259. Paths rise beside a stream coming to an ATV track passing underneath Conscleuch Head & straight to Deer Law. Switchbacked along the fenceline over Conscleuch Head to Black Law summit. Returned to SW top of Black Law & followed fence WSW to pt598m on Redsike Head. Faint sheep tracks slanted down easily W to rejoin the RoW back to the start. Cold & overcast but with decent views except for Dollar Law which was firmly stuck in cloud all day. A good round when the ground is frozen.NotReallyABagger04/01/2019
Round of 4 Donalds anti-clockwise from small parking area below Manorhead. Mostly easy walking and drying out nicely underfoot except for a boggy section between Greenside and Black Law.AndrewFinnimore17/05/2018

Horse Hope Hill - Blackhouse Heights - Black Law - Black Law SW top - Conscleuch Hill - Deer Law - Greenside Law. Started from just S of Langhaugh at approx 8.30pm, climbing steep slopes to reach col and tussocky climb to Horsehope Hill and pitch tent close to summit. In morning continued S along broad ridge to Deer Law and then W to Greenside Law. Descent to path back to glen and short road walk back to car on hot sunny day.RobertP18/06/2017
Parked at bridge next to N end of forest after white house approaching Manorhead. J and I walked down road to join RofW leading to Megget; went L around stand of trees and had to go through trees and across burn to re-join track which was very wet and muddy, more so in the dip S of Redsike Head where we were paddling. We abandoned track, taking bearing 240 alongside fence and up hill to reach summit (small ring still there, noted on my first visit on 07/07/2015, during round of Black Law and Dollar Law). Jackie decided to leave DL for another day, so we re-traced uphill route to descend, pausing near the dip for lunch. Weather was fine all day.jacobus20/03/2017
Circuit starting from Craigierig taking in Greenside Law, its South Top, Shielhope Head, Notman Law, Dollar Law, Fifescar Knowe and down by the Cramalt Burn track.milimana26/08/2016
15.8 Mile walk in perfect weather from parking area near Kirkhope Burn, walked along road to end and up good footpath to ridge across boggy col and up to Greenside Law, across head of Manor Valley on track to Notman Law, out to Cramalt Craig, and back along to Fifescar Knowe then Dollar Law, down a long way and back up to pathetic lump of Long Grain Knowe, out and back to Middle Hill, then along ridge continuation to Grey Weather Law, Pykestone Hill and The Scrape, descended to car via Posso Craig passing very strange and unused trig point down bottom of Northey Knowe hillside. Terrain very easy like walking on a carpet all the way. No people anywhere.DanTrig14/05/2016
