Bushey Heath to Stanmore is said to be where highwaymen such as Dick Turpin lurked ready to raid the dozen or so caravans that passed through Bushey Heath daily, carrying money from trade in London. Fast forward to today and at 10pm at night it still didn't feel like a place to linger. | Chris Pearson | 24/04/2015 |
Parked car on one of side streets, then a quick walk to the boundary stone. | bolieve | 04/04/2015 |
With Harrow LB top. Parked in Broadfield Close cul-de-sac. Highest natural(ish) point appears to be near boundary stone on the High Road. | webmaster | 17/02/2015 |
Grass bank N side of road is highest accessible ground, apparently nothing higher in gardens immediately to N. Further N are several embankments with 155m contours, obviously manmade (resrs?) | RHW | 14/12/2014 |
What is there to say? | Newton Maximus | 21/11/2014 |
Parked in pub CP just past the marked top. Wandered around junction, and down for a revisit to the old top Bushey Heath (boundary, still as uninteresting. After Scotland at the weekend the London bagging was quite a contrast... | nordicstar | 22/10/2014 |
Came to what I thought was the Middlesex top six and a half years ago, but if you're ticking off hills you've got to do things properly... | Richard | 04/10/2014 |

Back again, hopefully someone doesn't point to another slight change and I have to visit somewhere a minute away | simon and co | 28/08/2014 |
We weren't excited about this county top (number 25) but actually we had a lovely early evening walk. Parked at the end of Old Lodge Way and walked through Bentley Priory Nature Reserve, passing some very tame deer. Admittedly the A4140 is not beautiful - are the high security fences really necessary?? Perhaps the summit (not) is notable for being most boring county top in England, but as said, the walk was delightful (with Dorothy and Helen). | callumorr | 08/08/2014 |
drive by on the way to coldsmoking course
very exciting - Dave was jealous | mr bounce | 07/06/2014 |

Came down from Coventry to bag this county top. Started near the crossorads and had a wander around, including in and around the new development which seemed to me to be the high point. | Father Ted | 10/06/2012 |
County top No.4. Train to Harch End (via Kings Cross & Euston) then walked Hatch End > Bushey Heath > Elstree mostly along London Loop Path. Distance 9.1 miles; Climb 768 feet; Time 3:10. An easy walk along the London Loop; mist & fog at first lifting to a bright sunny afternoon. (Temp 14 deg C). | alan.65to70 | 12/03/2012 |
This one is at a crossroads - I just drove over it! Later stalked on foot to try to find anything higher. | AlexanderHoward | 28/12/2011 |
Parking by water works on Clay Lane. Walked quickly round block in rain along A4140 bagging both CoU and CoL tops, although at the time I didn't realise the tops were separate locations. | Hillsidenick | 10/08/2010 |
not inspired by this top but it needs to be done. | BazWylie | 03/08/2010 |
30/12/2017 Retrospective bag after bagging initial COH, now Bushey Heath (boundary) Hill No5467. So happens in an effort to walk round possible man made high point on reservoir by walking from Bushey Heath (boundary) , left down Clay Lane and left down Magpie Hall Road back to Bushey Heath (boundary). | mntainman | 14/04/2010 |

On the aforesaid day I visited the then top at TQ 15255 93784 and I'm blowed if I'm going back to such a boring crossroads just so I can say I've stood on a point a few yards away that might be a centimetre or so higher!! I now see I did visit this as my log for Hill 5467 says Visited crossroads and circumnavigated reservoir to claim the top. | signyred | 27/01/2008 |
