From N, nice slabby summit in pasture. Rain to finish an otherwise dry pleasant day. | RHW | 25/12/2022 |
After work before dark. Awkward access issue from west as new farmhouse now blocks easy access to track and farm sign prohibits unauthorised access towards farm buildings. Lovely small smooth once glaciated and now mossy craggy outcrops on summit. My return was cut off by farmer who during my few minutes on summit had chosen to spread hay on the approach track which attracted a hundred energetic cows. Alternative field route used, then down at the farm met the farmer himself locking up for the night who spotted me climbing over a fence to skirt his property and kindly allowed me to use the track through his farm after checking out what I was doing and if I was local. | Chris Pearson | 21/11/2019 |
