Over gate into trees. Pile of small boulders mark the summit. Summited at 09:55h with Norman, Kate, Charlie & Martin. I stayed on the island after the others departed. Anti-clockwise coastal walk of Herm then across the causeway to Hermetier Island. Finally, a pint in the Mermaid Tavern and then lunch at The Ship Inn. | Dangerous Dave | 18/09/2023 |
Early boat with others. Back to Guernsey at 10.50 to allow time for Lihou (squib) in the afternoon. | NormanW | 18/09/2023 |
Part of the party described by Dangerous Dave. Revisited on 21/9 when circuiting the island and had a good thrash around on the NW side of path looking in vain for higher summit. | Thearlaichdubh | 18/09/2023 |

Out on boat from St Peter Port. Walked round and over the island enjoying the good weather, HP just off track over wall.
Despite all the sign saying there were Bulls in the fields, they were very elusive during my visit. | PeterD | 02/07/2018 |

A full Hercumference of the island, much of it on shell-free beaches due to very low spring tide. Summit may be the highest point, but not really the highpoint, scenery-wise. | Martin R | 16/06/2018 |
Half day trip from Guernsey with Rob and Douglas. 2-hr circular walk round southern end of the island on well-wlaked paths. HP on E side of path in amongst some vegetated rocks. GPS gave HP as 49°28.083'N, 2°26.847'W. | jonglew | 10/07/2017 |
Out on the 08:30 boat to save £2.00 then back on the 10:35 after visiting summit rock and windmill. | Dugswell2 | 10/07/2017 |
HP is pile of large boulders E side of track in pinewood. 0830 ferry over, 1035 back to Guernsey, early bird cheaper and much less crowded with plenty time for summit and walk round S half of island. | RHW | 10/07/2017 |
Beached boat in the tiny harbour managing to avoid rocks. Walked round island including HP within May Queen Pine plantation. Ground generally level and disturbed by quarrying but HP appears to be an outcropping boulder to East of track , NE of water tank. We used the excellent map of Herm available from the gift shop on arrival ( 95p). There is another possible HP marked as 3m lower near 'Moss Field' ( near cricket pitch/ campsite) and this is indeed lower. Beautiful island, well worth a visit. Pity you cannot access the outlying islands easily. | Denise | 25/06/2017 |
Short sail from Guernsey and moored in the drying Herm Harbour. The excellent map of the island available from the gift shop is a good investment of 95p. Summit included in a walk around the peaceful island. Took the track/road S from Le Manoir which more or less crosses the island summit which is a small open Pine wood. High point is the most Northerly of 2 large granite boulders 15m NE of water tank. N49.46811deg, W002.44746deg 75m WGS84 | RichardM | 25/06/2017 |
