Farm road from Marglolly Bridge, heading up to Muil Hill when SE of summit. A few sheep trods and the occasional ATV track helped, as they did on to Darngarroch Hill and subsequently back down to the farm road at Slongaber.summitter24/07/2023
Parked at the second cattle grid on the road to Muil farm. Direct line to Muil hill then onto Darngarroch hillAndrew Simmons28/02/2023
Parked at Marglolly Bridge with luckily no issues. Straight ascent first up Bishop Forest Hill up the ATV track. Returned the same way and followed track to Muil Farm but branched off after a short way following another ATV track across wet tussocky ground eventually to a wall and gate, through that to unmarked summit. Descended to the left of the woods to the main track which I followed back to the bridge.Wayne Mac21/01/2022
Parked at cattle grid (NX 8258 8006) after being refused parking at farm by Mrs Farmer. Took a direct line up, then on to Darngarroch Hill. Farmer passed me on quad bike as I returned to car, put my hand up to him... he blanked me, despite me not blocking any access!jonglew18/01/2021
Parked at Marglolly Bridge and walked along the road before striking up the hill to the summit. Continued along tusocky ground to Darngarroch Hill before dropping to the building with the same name and followed the path to Westland and out to the road at Slongaber which was followed back to the start.3 kinnears17/01/2021
P Marglolly Bridge, leaving plenty room for Doug's lorry. Along track & up, on to Darngarroch Hill.agentmancuso12/09/2020
Parked at the CG as others, quick bag from there.robertphillips06/09/2020
I took cjo at the farmer's word and drove to the cattle grid, from where it was an easy ascent on rough pasture. High point not well defined. A lonely dog was in residence in a kennel just beyond the cattle gridColin Crawford07/08/2020
Parking 200m north of bridge. Then along track. I was fortunate to be given a lift on the outward leg by the ATV repair van. Dropped off at cattle grid were i was told parking would be permitted, then simple walk to flat grassy summit. I had to walk all the way back though on a very hot humid day.cjo21/06/2017
Lovely sunny October day for this plod over dampish upland sheep pasture. Climbed over Muil Hill on way out and back to bag Darngarrock Hill and trig. Met they farmer on his quad, wondering if I was the idiot who left his car in the wide entrance @ Margolly Bridge. Were you expecting a delivery I asked? Then stated that I could drive most lorries passed my car without any problems.Dugswell221/10/2012
