From Muirfauldhouse with parking permission granted. Added Hannah Law with its surprisingly large cairn for my daughter, Hannah. On to Misty Law then Capet Law over rough ground. All possible contenders visited so was very disappointed to find hill now declassified.lordtonult04/03/2024
From Muirshiel Country Park, crossed concrete bridge ~300m NW of the visitors' centre. East Girt Hill, Hill of Stake, West Girt Hill, High Corby Knowe, Long Hill, Box Law and Windyrise first then across to here. On to Misty Law and return for a 17k round over rough heathery ground after Stake. One saving grace was nearly frozen ground, otherwise would have been a very boggy round.jonglew07/12/2022

Parked at bridge river Garnock at 315 567 lochwinnoch to Kilbirnie back road. Walked up farm track open gates then past Glengarnock Castle, worth a visit in the passing. Continued heading north along the better ground eventually arriving at Capet Law in about 1hr 20 min. Dry day with some rare sunshine cold in the wind though.colazione16/01/2022
From Mistry Law, and back to Muirshiel. A few of hours of the least enjoyable walking I've had in a long time. Faint ATV track was soon lost. Returned on 400m contour below Broadish Law to cross track near Hannah Law. Forded ankle deep river Calder to get to car park.Minto02/12/2021
From Misty Law. Very hard going. No path, heather, bog, moss etc.. returned to south side of Misty Law and down to Muirshiel. Crossed burn at partial dam to north of Raith Burn. Renfrewshire completed.Campbell Singer13/05/2021
At this time when the vegetation is dormant a sometimes faint ATV track can be followed directly S. from Misty Law to Capet Law. It makes walking so much easier. From Capet Law head NE.to get back onto the track to Muirfauldhouse.bjewing10/04/2021

P wide gateway to Ladyland, right at Stables & track past now abandoned (?) Cockston. Up S of Kilbanes burn to impressive cairn at Auchenbourach, views of Ailsa Craig just under the mist. Went round all the various options, SW top the clear winner I'd say. Back down county boundary fence, Maich Water in spate to had to stick to W side over some easy windfell till track reappeared by FB. Renfrewshire complete.agentmancuso30/12/2018

Back same way keeping L of Hannah finding a grassy route up and down shoulder, path S side of fence, a few runnable trods further downRHW23/10/2016
Last hill of 13 today on my epic Largs to Lochwinnoch, climbing, Jock's Hill, Rigging Hill, Paton's Hill, Feuside Hill, Irish Law, Black Law, Windyrise, Box Law, Long Hill, High Corby Knowe, West Girt Hill, Hill of Stake, East Girt Hill and Misty Law followed by a long walk in. I climbed all of the potential bumps and after hard-going slog down by the fence walked over Ladyland moor and climbed over the Maich water to then use track that runs parallel before I took minor road into Lochwinnoch.Dazingdale22/09/2016

Long, long haul from the cemetery above Lochwinnoch, by way of Misty Law. The track from Muirfauldhouse is decaying and very wet but does get you up to the Donald Dewey without great effort. And there was a bit of a vehicle trace to follow to the area of Capet Law, where I visited all four tops, the southerly one clearly the highest. Then a horrid trudge NW to rejoin the welcome trackColin Crawford27/02/2015
From Lochwinnoch. Confusing area in mist. Found the four tops surrounding a couple of pools, although the one with a cairn was not the nearest one to the piles of stones note on my OS explorer map.campagvelocet28/11/2014
