Parked at the cattle grid and followed the cut path up to the pheasant pen but into thick bracken and heather beyond that - more pleasant once off the steeper slopes. I'd set off intending to just do Bhuidhe but Dhubh looked close so carried on. Animal tracks on the first section speeded progress but rougher on the last bit and the continuation to Brin Rock. On the way back picked up the cut path with orange topped posts down to the track which I followed down to the timber yard just north of Brin House and the easy walk back up the road. | StueyB | 04/08/2023 |
Parked at cattle grid and wandered up through the crags to the summit, good views up the valley to wards Daviot | Nozzer | 18/03/2022 |
2 of 4: Parked by the cattle grid at 669318. Went up by a fence in a sea of heather. Slow. 25 mins. Back down using deer tracks slightly to the south of the upward line. Just as slow. | ChrisR | 21/01/2020 |
Parked on rough ground close to cattle grid at 669318. Followed direct line to top (GR 66293 31303). Excellent wee hill. | Dave McG | 11/04/2018 |
There is a medium sized cairn but three stones on a boulder around 175 metres away looks to be the highest point. | hill walker | 25/02/2018 |
