Parked in Bardsea near church then up the road to gate near mast into pasture to South of top. Up small Limestone escarpment and on up to monument by golf course. No golfers today probably because it was raining heavily.PeterD28/12/2022

Signs say Private No Access for golf course, but public are welcome to spend money in the bar and restaurant, so went from SD2987574775, over gate adj comms mast, up R ASAP to skyline before bushes start - then easy stroll, stile into golf course, 100m N of monument. Climb this soon because once occupied, residents in a new property will be able to see you cross in front of their patio doorsIsbjorn11/07/2022
From FP to SW via gap in wall next to a tree, across the GC to a gate, straight on and small scramble up onto ridge. Unusual memorial at top. Great viewstrimarc207/04/2022

We walked around Bardsea golf course on New Year's Day morning and decided it was unwise to try with so many golfers around as you have to cross the fairways and the summit is exposed and fenced off. So, we returned at dusk and parked at the south end of the mapped escarpment by an aerial and gate, parking in a convenient layby. We quickly ascended the escarpment at a suitable point from the sheep pasture and followed it north to the fence enclosing the decaying memorial tower, which is a superb viewpoint. Apparently built by the landowner in the 18th C as a folly/ summer house and converted to a cenotaph in the 19th C. Main house demolished in 1920's. Lovely place; let's hope someone saves it.Denise 01/01/2022
From the S, field gate, pasture with sheep and a little limestone edge to scramble up. High point monument on Golf course side of BWF. (A fine and sunny New Year's Day is not the best time to be approaching via the busy golf course)RichardM01/01/2022
What a strange walk. Couldn't see a legal walk starting from anywhere. Parked on the minor road running NW from Bardsea at a point alongside the final house where the road widens out. Over a gate and across the field below the crag line. When you are level with the tower the crags ease off allowing access to the top area.moorsman13/05/2021

2/2 Parked at beach at Bardsea and walked along coastal path to reach Conishead Priory, wandered round the site, then round the main road and back in the North Entrance to end of wall and tucked into woodland there to the top. Sunny spot for lunch at the tower with great view. Then out to main road, over to Bardsea village as up onto Bardsea park via the Gate on South lane. Over the ladder stile over corner of golf course and up to the Sally Army tower. A day of towers.nickywood107/11/2020
Middle of the Golf Course not easy to get to , luckily we are in a lockdown so no golfers around .Philposs28/02/2020

Interesting little fell. Easy twilight ascent from south. Dow Crag looks satisfyingly spiky from this angle.Wycombe Wanderer28/01/2019
Parked by the church. Field gate at SD 2980 7480 gives on to a sheep pasture, direct line to the top from there. Handy stile near the top gives access to the golf course, where the summit monument is sited - Grade II listed, 1792.jonglew10/12/2018
