Big concrete army tower looming over flat open 'battle run' surroundings. All quiet at dawn. Was that a camera on top of it? Interesting reading www.gov.uk/government/news/the-truth-about-porton-down which describes the history and ongoing work work of the chemical / biological labs here - including secret air release of biological agents here to chart their spread - since judged in 2 independent reports to be now not harmful to humans.(hopefully true?) The Govt web site also states - No aliens, either alive or dead have ever been taken to Porton Down !Chris Pearson05/12/2016
Accessed from SE on quiet and frosty Boxing Day morning; didn't see a soul. Up here to bag the trig pillar, on to Isle of Wight Hill.jonglew26/12/2014
