Failed. Described route is SW face. Did Pitch 1 which isn't hard but poor protection and rock unreliable. Looks a bit harder than the stated 4c; cave roof has fallen in (intact 1992 - M Robson); maybe changes to Pitch 3 also. Straightforward 2km walk-in from NE, Sidmouth, accessible 3hrs before low tide. Witnessed 2 cliff falls this a.m. one of which just missed 2 people, leaving a pile of debris on beach.
