Return visit as last did this hill so long ago I can't remember much about it. From Traquair via SUW. Returned by descending south from summit on trodden path then right turn on path through forest to join forest track. Back to SUW for a wee bit. Then left turn on to forest track to Camp Shiel and Damhead Shiel for walk out to road. Parking at village hall. Didn't see any sign about walkers not using the car park when hall in use although there was a sign saying priority for hall users.Fife Walking16/07/2023

From car park at Traquair Village Hall (NT331345), then along Southern Upland Way to NT353336, continuing along a narrow footbath through heather directly to summit of Minch Moor (a nightmare of flies), returning same waykdbennett03/07/2021
From Traquair village hall car park following the SUW to the point where it’s signposted to the summit. From here we went on to Brown Howe and returned the way we cameWayne Mac19/06/2021
2 of 4: After Cademuir Hill we drove to the Traquair village CP. S.U.Way to the Cheese Well. Narrow short cut path back to just before the well. With Karen.ChrisR16/06/2021
With Wilsons Walkers (Frances, David, Geoff and Alastair). We had originally planned to climb Donalds south of St Mary's Loch, but the cloud base was low and the rain and wind did not add to the attraction. This short walk from Traquair was plan B. A small mishap with the cairn.langskill10/06/2021
From the parking area on the A708, just beside the telephone box and opposite the post box at Yarrowford 408300. Walked slightly East to pick up the track signposted to the old Broadmeadow Hostel (now a Private residence as the sign tells you), followed the yellow signs around the house to pick up a good path going uphill by the stream and onto the ridge to meet the Southern Upland Way just East of Broomy Law. Followed the SUW to a gate which leads to a track up Broomy Law and then down the otherside to another gate to reconnect with the SUW. Followed the SUW all the way over Brown Knowe andHare Law to a track that turns left and heads direct to the summit (signposted Minch Moor 400m. Good views from the top and some mountain bikers. Retraced steps back over Hare Law to pick up Minchmoor Road which comes out past the Community Centre to meet the road only a few metres from the car. Not the shortest route to do this marilyn but a very pleasant easy walk with good paths all of the wJulieB29/05/2021
