Parked at end of public road to NW. easy walk then took path to left and followed it up to the summit. Easy. Back down and over to the north hill.Adrian14/07/2022
After Rostowrack and G North, tracks and paths lead via ex pool (tent!) to bare summit overlooking site offices. Retraced paths of outward route.RHW14/05/2017
From road ( just possible to park near depot exit) thrashed NE up a steep vegetated hillside ( spoil) through bramble, willow and springy willow- following footsteps. Obvious Hp was 2 m diameter clear gravel area with rather too good views of depot ( not active on this Sunday). Continued down on narrow path north- less vegetated and probably recommended route, accessed from lake bed ( now dry) and quarry track to NW.Denise 19/03/2017
A bit of a thrash up through vegetation on SE side, start immediately opposite to 'Goonvean' entrance. Nothing too nasty and quite fun. Descend on path up NW side. Lakes shown on map are now filled in. Good view point.RichardM19/03/2017
Direct assault from the SSE with Iain Brown who described it as a bit of a brambly scramble. Found an easier path for the way down.Dugswell208/03/2017
After coming down from North Hill crossed a flatish wooded area in a SW direction but lost sight of the top and ended up ascending 2 smaller spoil heaps before hitting South Hill! First peak at SW95375522, next one at SW95335518, then finally hit South Hill at SW95255516. All steep with narrow tracks but not difficult although final track very steep with one awkward sandy section. Whole area densely wooded and lots of mature stuff not conducive to humans; some swampy areas too.jonglew21/02/2017
