From roadside wsw along track.colazione05/03/2023
Roadside parking WSW (NS 6900 7336). Good track to the mast, then muddy track through rhoddies to water company compound gates. Fence weakness to WNW of gates allowed entry, although head above high point would have sufficed at the gates.jonglew05/02/2023
Farm track to the SW for a quick route to the HPAndrew Simmons18/10/2022
Minor road park. Easy track. Rubble top .Play2End01/09/2022
Same route as JAdair, also visited a couple of man made mounds of rubble near top.PeterD13/05/2022
Parked at West Gartshore and along to the locked gate which is easily climbed. Followed the path up to the mast and then went left through a couple of bushes. Made the summit out to be between two trees next to the fence at something of a corner.JAdair9703/01/2022

From the one car parking space at the railway bridge on the minor road between this hill and Gartshore Bing.bjewing15/02/2021
Directly from Bing to masts and top(s)and on to the late Wm Whitelaw's estate grounds before returning to car at PS.lordtonult10/12/2020
Reservoir definitely leaking! If approaching from the west, you can avoid the mast by hopping the fence just as the rhoddies end, head over towards the sheep field and the compound. There's a drier track there.Belfarm 10/11/2020
Verge parking at the track end to the West. A mast blocks the path at one point so need to divert around it to reservoir area.NormanW13/10/2020
As Colin Crawford. Not the most exciting hill I’ve been up.Campbell Singer09/10/2020
From Drumbreck via good track at edge of wood. HP seems to be a pile of rubble near fence corner. Pleasant descent through middle of wood.sclater08/03/2020
Parked in Waterside and walked from west. Agree with RHW that high point is in rushy field [across barbed wire fence next to enclosure gate] at bend in fence.russell6111/02/2019
From W, visited large pine S side, rhododendrons SE corner, fence bend N side, and mapped highpoint 105m contour in deep rushes NE of compound, which seems a bit lower. Night visit en route north, having only just realised I'd lost East Dunbartonshire, now reclaimedRHW05/10/2018
As Colin, parking still ok. Hideously wet underfoot. Indistinct summit but photo is close to the fence. Dry and mild.iangalbraith29/01/2018
Simple plod along the muddy track from the West. Highpoint looked to be at bend in fence rather than in the rhododendrons.agentmancuso22/10/2017
On walk from Croy to Lenzie. Ascertaining the summit was much more challenging than the ascent.campagvelocet22/09/2017
Decent views from field edges at summit area, to north and south. Track from east to reservoir drier underfoot than track from west to comms masts.neimcv19/09/2017
Parked on verge 50m N of track start. Then as everyone else. I like the idea that the reservoir is leaking; all that water must be coming from somewhere.Minto31/08/2017
Tour of the edges of the Croy housing estates from the station. Only 400m without pavements, verges etc. Reservoir seems to be leaky but HP seems to be at the boundary fence.Thearlaichdubh23/07/2017
Early morning bag before work from track entrance visited all possible high points, base of large pine tree south of compound fence looks good.robertphillips22/06/2017
Large area for parking NW of track then as Colin. Flat top. Checked out S side of fence then went into a very marshy field N of res gate which seemed a little higher.chrisbien14/06/2017
A new local Tump, so couldn't let that remain outstanding. East Dunbartonshire reclaimed too. I parked by the railway bridge at NS692731 then used the obvious track, past two phone masts, to a covered reservoir. Muddy but followable. The summit is rather indefinite, flat and covered in rhodies. FWIW, I reckoned the high point to be just south of the compound, amongst the rhodies. Several nearby mounds are obviously artificial.Colin Crawford12/06/2017
