By bike from near the remains of the Wenlock Edge Inn via Much Wenlock and Blakeway Hollow. Almost certainly visited in 1984 when working for the National Trust here. At that time the quarry was operational. Summit candidates crossed by the remains of an old wall.fasgadh21/07/2019
First of a 4 tump circuit from Wenlock Edge car park. Visited the various HP contenders. Hazy spring sunshine and a cool breeze. Onward to Easthope Wood.milimana15/04/2019

Followed Aye Jimmy's route from the quarry car park, just down the minor lane. The footpath doesn't seem to exist on the ground but at least it gives you an excuse to be there if challenged. I quite enjoyed the walk across the quarry and up the steep slope with strange noises from the nearby buildings where they seemed to be turning trees into wood chips. Easy fence to climb at the top which gets you on to the Jack Mytton Way and the high point seems to be on a bank next to this. Sad sight of lots of dead and dying ash trees on the final slopes up to the top.Herbert Anchovy10/10/2018
Parked in the National Trust car park then a simple walk along RoW.Dugswell229/09/2018
Sunshine and cloud, humid, 11am with Alvin from car park just outside Much Wenlock. On to Easthope Wood.Wycombe Wanderer09/09/2018
Parked on B4371 in unused quarry gateway at SO 5950.9836. Into wood on right to emerge at side of quarry. No activity, crossed quarry floor, scrambled up other side to f/p and couple of possible high points. Coming back a lorry was unloading large logs in the quarry so had to wait till all clear...Aye Jimmy05/06/2018
Parked at Presthope and walked along the excellent fp above the quarry which now seems to be a timber yard. Impressive viewpoint westwards.Campbell Singer25/01/2018
From NT car park near presthope. Good path along edge with intermittent views. Number of possible HPs. All options covered.PeterD14/01/2018
Sun came out as we walked from (free) NT car park along quarry edge with nice views and autumnal leaves. HP is an indistinct point on path and a little disappointing . Returned on lower path. Helped by Meg, our loan Collie .Denise 23/10/2017
From NT car park at Presthope pleasant path NE through woods and then along edge of disused Lea Quarry to summit area. Several possibilities for the high point but I'll opt for the mound with the Beech tree at SO 59537 98665. Assisted on his trip by Meg, my sister's Collie who we are looking after for the week.RichardM23/10/2017
Walking the path from NT car park. Interesting butterflies. Only good view point is Majors Leap with views to northwest.Viroco06/08/2017
Nice walk along path from NT car park.heavyhorses01/08/2017
Easthope Wood and Blakeway Coppice to recomplete Shropshire, my home county. Did all three GRs that RHW mentions.clivevilla13/07/2017
From Wenlock Edge car park, wide track NE then steps up to clifftop, turned L, possible HP by ruined wall e.g. SO 59405 98635; at SO 59530 98656 by large beech tree NW side of path; or 4m scrubby bank 400m NE at SO 59695 98743; a few other possibles as others have said.RHW02/07/2017
From P at SO582975. Several possible HPs by the ruined wall and one possibly better bet - an earthy knoll a few metres in the trees at SO 5951 9866 (Grid Ref taken by cursor from online mapping - Experimental Geograph Coverage Map).summitsup18/06/2017
A nice walk along the top of the quarry. Numerous possibles for the definitive summit in and around an ancient stone wall. With Edie.stig_nest17/06/2017
Visited many times on the walk to and from Much Wenlock whilst living/working at Wilderhope YHA. I have a postcard from the Wenlock Edge Innpub that I wrote on this date, so I'm confident it's not an estimate (same walk, a little further to the south). The quarry was a very interesting urbex, I recall.DanHolme17/06/2008
