Break running SE to this top is now a good logging road, enabling a drive up. | jonglew | 29/11/2020 |
Done on the walk out from Dryfehead bothy to Boreland. Very muddy (active forestry operations) tracks led over the summit, at the rough track junction noted by Chris. My exit west through new plantings proved challenging, as the old firebreaks appear to be no more | Colin Crawford | 21/08/2019 |
P at sharp bend S of Waterhead. Track along river is mostly gone. Improves crossing Cocklaw Burn. New wide track just N of previous firebreak which went E then N past summit. Top clear felled and newly planted near jnct of rough track and the new one. Met man doing a bird survey - rumoured windfarm! Onto 3MH. | chrisbien | 26/02/2019 |
