Walk: Martindale St. Martins- Dalehead- skirting Heck Crag- Brock Crags- Rest Dodd- back down NW ridge- The Nab- N. ridge- St. Martins Ch. I used the old path up Bannerdale to get to Brock Crags- lots of paths now off the main High Street path to this Waiwright. With walks right down Boardale, up Bannerdale and over the Nab, I felt I knew Martindale much better, and better myself for it. Plenty of sunshine and 30 mile views on this first part of my walk.pwheeler16/03/2024

Descended The Nab, across the frozen col, slight re-ascent towards Rest Dodd, then picked up a vague track under the snow, heading diagonally towards the wall. Through a gap in the wall more than half way across the face, then followed the wall to its high point, leaving it for Satura Crag. On from there to Brock Crags high point. Continued on to Wainwright Summit.LizH18/01/2024

Ramps Gill Round clockwise from St Peter's Church with Jim, Jus & Cat, on a day where the forecast heavy rain thankfully never materialised. A small grassy bump overlooking a bijou peat bog. I can see why Wainwright chose a different point of the hill as his summit.wheresthepath28/09/2019
