| 1 x boggy parking at gate, SH397452. RoW is barricaded at SH397458 so kept on tx to Llethr-Ddu and up W side of property, then diagonal to a gate and up to a hurdle in top wall, into wind-stunted gorse, then steep grass with rocks and finally a really greasy awkward summit boulder field. | Parked in narrow layby around 50m before start of path at red post box gate. Up track through boulders up between 2 X cottages, straight up through rusty gate behind cottage, straight up through stone gap, up, up to hole in stone wall, right turn, follow path across below rocky stuff all the way round between the two tops, then find a way to the top, very rocky and scrambly here so be careful, I wouldn't want to do it in the wet, back same way 2 hours | Tribal2er | 15/10/2023 |

| Drove up from Llanaelhaearn, parked at track end GR397453. FP at bend in track goes left, not ahead, but leads to last farm. Gate into top field leads to open moor, then straight-ish up. Summit very bouldery, needs good balance. | IanHHill | 30/08/2023 |

| Parked at Seaview Terrace and up the zigzags to the col. Took the 1st wall up -error - very rocky and steep. Crossed wall around the flatter area near the settlement marked on map. Found decent path that went up and across to a col. Surprised how rocky summit mound was and I had to take it carefully to avoid falling into what could have been a nasty hole or ten. Like coming off Tryfan. Returned the path way - much easier. Take the path up to Fron-huelog and then the gate thru there to avoid my horrible line of ascent. | There is parking after about 500m on the left on the road east out of Llanaelhaearn (probably better than looking for passing places further up the road to park in). Walked along the road to the ROW to Llethr-ddu (the gatepost is marked Ynys Ddu). Followed the ROWs to the access land by Fron-heulog. There is an old metal gate in the wall to gain the access land. Tracks then lead to the rocky summit area. The rocks were not too bad as they were dry. Beautiful sunset over Yr Eifl. Returned the same way. | From street parking in Clynnog Fawr using ROW to reach open hill side, after reaching Bwlch Mawr I crossed the stile near the summit and followed a path by the wall around the valley head not losing to much height all the way to Gyrn Ddu retracing my steps back to the start. | I used the footpath on the right hand side coming from Llanaelhaearn. It went around the back of the hill, through fields and up a very steep hill to the summit. There's a few paths up but once you climb one of them you have access to all six hills in the vicinity, if you have time to do them all but I have to do two at a time. | Skarletk | 22/09/2021 |

| From Cynnnog Fawr up very overgrown right of way to 417485, then edge of wood, crossing Afon Hen and straight onto Gryn Goch. Steep and deep gras with bilberries. Then on to rocky top of Gryn Ddu. | Parked at the end of the row of terraced houses parallel to the main road to the East. Waymarked path past Rock Cottage zigzags up to the Bwlch and beyond. Go past a couple of walls until past all the rocky ridge and then turn left opposite a building through an iron gate. Follow sheep track up to just below summit.
