The bridge has been removed. | Martin R | 26/09/2022 |
From free car park at end of the Greenway. Walked out due N to a post on aridge running roughly E-W (TF 96545 44743), then followed a reasonably good track W through the grass to a fairly obvious HP at TF 95987 44649, complete with a bench seat. | jonglew | 12/09/2020 |
Followed my grandad, Jon Glew. A bit muddy but not too bad. | williamglew | 12/09/2020 |
From free carpark at end of 'Green way' Stiffkeys in wellies. Muddy. Followed the faint path North to shoreline then west around coast along vague embankment with vegetation to low embanked area with bench, toppled pines, gorse and broom. | Denise | 04/02/2020 |
From the free car park at TF965,439 path of sorts N to wooden bridge over creek then over firm salt marsh to slightly raised bank at seaward edge. Good path W along the bank curves S to high point grassy dune with remnants of pine trees and clumps of broom. Even a bench to enjoy the view from. | RichardM | 04/02/2020 |
Part of Stiffkey Saltmarshes NT property, easy access with (free) NT car park TF 9650 4395 then path N across footbridge, meet low sea bank and turn L to HP at TF 96439 44777, manmade bank approx 1m high but marsh seems to rise to natural HP somewhere around here. Main path continues to beach. Nice. (Lidar summit subsequently determined as farther W but all a bit arbitrary and apparently a manmade sea defence) (also visited B-SQUIB to E, easy muddy tidal crossing at TF983443) | RHW | 01/01/2020 |
