Baggers in my usual hunting ground of Cumbria sometimes comment on the pointlessness of a hill but I have to say this one beats them all hands down. The HP on my GPS was a flat piece of land behind a golf course storeroom about 20 metres up a footpath from a busy road. A likely artificial higher point was covered in dense undergrowth requiring machete and jungle gear to access - this was a true exercise in pointless 'summit' bagging. but hey, its a hobby!ytfckent22/04/2023
Crowhurst Circular: St. Helens and the spoils (a mound of rubble)PhilipChaston18/12/2021
Solo. From St Helen's. Sunny & clear. Summit GR on nondescript track/footpath to north of busy main road. Onwards to Crowhurst station via footpath above Brakes Coppice Farm with good views to the southeast.millionmts13/08/2021
Parked SW side road in water tower compound entrance, fast road so timing a bit tricky. Who knows where the natural HP is, may even be in the water compound. Had a mooch round where the GR indicated, and on to golf course. All looked very artificial.jonglew08/07/2020
Highpoint 13m E of PRoW in scrub: artificial bank of spoil & rubble 1.5m high. Natural HP a little further N close to track junction, so is this a P30?RHW25/05/2020
