From the NE. Parked on hardstanding to the side of the High Mowthorpe access road, about 30m S. of the junction with High Street - S. along road, NW along RoW, S. across an area of rough ground & then tramlines across rapeseed stubble to the overgrown summit tumulus.gerrybowes11/08/2023
Drive by after big walk round Wharram Percy. Parked at bw just north, along bw to grassy uncultivated stretch to tumulus top, pretty rough but avoided most of the Rape crop.Flatfield01/07/2023
Parked on road west of high spot and wandered around crops to find summit in the rape seed. Pleasant view and several hares aroundnickywood131/05/2023
Field has crop growing. Walk down track and cut across to grassy unploughed tumulus areacjo12/02/2023
From the road to the west on a bit of rough ground which does not really look like a tumulus.clivevilla14/03/2022
Left the footpath to cross roughly ploughed field to the tumulus. Icy fog gave me cover! Alfie stayed in the van.Dangerous Dave07/12/2020

Parked on verge at start of f/p to NW. Field now cropped, so f/p then struck off across to rough mound with long grass.Aye Jimmy10/09/2020
Grassy tumulus in very large harvested grain field. A mere 0.6m higher Re-location. Better summit than a cracked and tatty trig pillar breezy th a first and roadvegibagger02/09/2020
Parking where the adjacent footpath leaves the road. Summit area completely surrounded by standing wheat. Walked up and down the road but, although there were tractor tracks through the wheat, non extended as far as the road. Tried along the footpath. After 200m an area of grass has been left presumably covering another tumulus. By walking across this it is possible to get within 20m of the summit, but, again, only by trampling crops. Decided to leave the last 20m until after harvesting.moorsman29/08/2020
