Proper mountain day out, headed out from the Aber Falls Car Park to bag all the NW Carneddau Nuttalls.simocity25/02/2024
From the lower Aber Falls car park, diverting on to the higher path which crosses scree and leads up beside the Afon Goch. No views at the summit. On descent surfed down scree to the Falls tourist path for a view of the Falls then back to the car, and home in Crieff for dinner at 6.30. Lucky with the weather, dry all day despite gloomy forecast.NormanW26/11/2023
11.4 mile circular from Aber Falls road. Along the good track to Llyn Anafon ascending Llwytmor on a mix of sheep paths and trails. From here we followed trails to Foel-Fras and Drum (both 2nd time bagged). Descending the good track north-west, then onto trail over Pen Bryn-Du, Yr Orsedd, Foel-Ganol and Foel Dduarth (21m prominence). Heading down and back to road. 1141m ascent. Great views in sunny/high cloud conditions. Only a few people about.DanTrig13/09/2023
From Abergwyngregyn. Llwytmor, Foel Fras, Drum, Yr Orsedd and Foel Ganol. 16.35km with 902m ascent in 2hr52m21s.alunrees198301/09/2023
Circuit from GR676717 via Foel Ganol, Yr Orsedd and Drum. Contoured round the NE flank of Foel-fras. Probably quicker to go via its top!IanHHill29/08/2023
Aber falls was a fab discovery - but very busy. But the crowds are quickly left behind. It's a difficult choice as to when to turn left to Llwytmor, but talking to another walker who turned left a lot later couldn't find a better path further up. Nice to visit the main ridge again.andrewroberts04/06/2023

Almost dark when I ascended Llwytmor so cannot really say much about the views. Last one of the day for me, now the journey back down to the Aber Car park.Buckleymon22/11/2022
From the Aber falls car park on a circuit of the northern Carneddau. The path that traverses above the Aber falls is a splendid route, winding through outcrops spectacularly, and the falls were in full flow. From a ruined sheepfold in the valley above straight up to Llywtymor Bach, then Llwtymor, contoured below the summit of Foel-fras, Drum, Carnedd y Ddelw, down to Bwlch y Ddeufaen, Foel Leyden, Tal y fan then a return to the car park along the track tha5 follows the pylons. 21 km in good timeRockdoctor01/10/2022
From Aber via yr Orsedd and Foel Fras with DB. No views from the top but soon out of the cloud on descent. Went looking and found the 1943 wreck site of Blackburn Botha torpedo bomber. 4 souls perished. Return via riverbank and loose path across scree down to below Aber falls. A 15 mile route with 3800ft of ascent.stig_nest24/09/2022

8th top of 9 on a 22.5km route from the Aber Falls upper car park with Adrian, climbing Moel Wnion, Gyrn, Moel Faban, Gyrn Wigau, Drosgl, Bera Bach and Bera Mawr then the contouring to keep the height avoiding the worst of the gullies although encountering deep intermittent snow patches, visiting the small cairn first then over to the craggy outcrop (although lower) to the NW. Descent North but we decided to head West at the 710m mark to investigate Llwytmor Bach (approx P11)....Dazingdale06/04/2019

From carpark at SH 663 720 walked with Lindsey to Aber Falls. Then followed a minor path up east side of the fall. After half a mile along upper valley swung east up the steep valley side to Llwytmor summit. Started in sunshine but cloud had descended by the top so poor visibility. Route down was northwest across grass and rocky patches then followed the boundary fence of the felled conifer plantation back down to the waterfall. Very pleasant walk.Skip24/07/2017
