Pen Llithrig y Wrach & Clogwyn Llech Lefn with Rufus. Parked in the national park car park behind Joe Brown's in Capel Curig and followed A5 N to ROW leading to south ridge of Pen Llithrig y Wrach. Descending from summit WNW to Bwlch y Tri Marchod and the slight top of Clogwyn Llech Lefn. Followed fence line S from bwlch to pick up original path back to road. Cloud inversion to E & S with lovely views over Tryfan & the high Carneddau. I had PyLW mistakenly logged for 11 years at the time thinking I had done it as part of the southern carneddau circuit, I have finally figured out the logging mistake and ascended this lovely mountain. | jacobrichmond | 21/02/2023 |

Only problem was finding the path for the lower section of final descent but not a problem on sometimes tussocky but not difficult ground. | dickscroop | 15/12/2021 |

12 mile walk from Capel Curig starting in sunshine, followed road then up boggy path to water channel, followed water channel to foot of Y Braich ridge and climbed to Pen Yr Helgi Du, the weather was still good by this time but the Glyders went into cloud, descended and steeply ascended onto Pen Llithrig Y Wrach, descended to end of reservoir and ascended pathless slopes onto Creigiau Gleison, by this time the weather had took a turn for the worst, we nearly went into cloud. Followed rough path onto Craiglwyn, then climbed up Craig Wen and Crimpiau, by this time every hill we had done earlier went into cloud, descended to Capel Curig. Great but strenuous walk, if we had started an hour later all the walk would have probably been in cloud! | DanTrig | 09/04/2017 |

Started Tal-y-Braich track end. Up to and along leat. Bogfest of a rough slog to Bwlch y Tri Marchog, lovely firmness to Pen Llithrig y Wrach. Lost path on way down to reservoir. Over bridge and rough slog up to Creigiau Gleision. Marginally different line on descent found lots of useful trods. Down to Capel Curig.
