Another Epic adventure in North Wales 1st Summit of the day, from Capel Curig, climbing all the Glyders finishing at the Pen-Y-Gwyrd hotel.I took the ridge rising gradually to this summit,a perfect lead-in with amazing views. The track took me quite close and then i veered off to climb to the summit area to explore the cairn and climb all the rocky lumps vying for attention. Great views but Tryfan must wins on wow appeal. I returned to the path to climb Y Foel Goch.Dazingdale07/07/2014

ANOTHER SUNNY DAY SO SET OFF WITH JOYCE AND 2 FRENCH FRIENDS TO COMBINE NUTTALLS WALKS 2.1 AND 2.3. UP TRYFAN FROM CAR PARK WITH NO TROUBLE ( DIDN'T DO THE JUMP) THEN BACK TO BWLCH AND EASY WALK OUT TO Y FOEL GOCH AND GALLT YR OGOF. BACK AND UP ONTO GLYDER FACH. HARD AT THE TOP AND TOOK AGES TO SCRAMBLE OVER HUGE BOULDERS. CASTELL Y GWYNT LOOKED IMPOSSIBLE BUT ONLY ONE EXPOSED MOVE RIGHT AT THE TOP, THEN ON TO GLYDER FAWR. MIST FORMING IN THE VALLEYS AND DOWN NEW EASY DEVIL'S KITCHEN PATH INTO SEA OF MIST. OTHERS CUT STRAIGHT FORM TRYFAN TO GLYDER FACH. ANOTHER GREAT DAY.BURGESS26/08/2013
