Snowdon via Llanberis path in snow. Took the path route after Clogwyn Station but saw plenty of people descending via the snow-covered blackspot on the railway line. They were in utter peril, feet above the cliffs of Clogwyn Coch, completely unprotected and many visibly terrified as they inched their way down on compacted, slippery snow in their trainers and wellies. Something more needs to be done to deter them. Came back via the NW ridge and Tryfan, very good views of the slate mine on Elidir Fawr.Barns15030/01/2024

A traverse of Snowdonifrom Pen y Pass to Llanberis including Craig Fach, Gallt y Wenallt, Y Llwedd, and Llechog. Weather improved throughout day. Rain cleared and clouds lifted. Eventually some sushine. Quiet on our route until we came upon the Watkin Path. But good to see so many folks having fun on the hills. With B and R.jenx22/05/2021

Linear walk from Y Fron village centre. Mynydd Mawr, through forest to Llyn Cwellyn, Moel Cynghorian, to Llechog and down the Llanberis path to Llanberis. Taxi back to the start. Glorious weather, one of the hottest days of the year. Tough walk.Lazylizzie08/08/2020

Started in Llanberis. Followed the Llanberis Path until the track goes through a gate, shortly after this is turned left and made a bee-line up the steep grassy bank until i got onto the ridge. As others have said great scenery from up there and much quieter (only passed 2 runners coming down) - easy to just follow the fence line and sheep track over the various ups and downs until you get to the rocky summit of Llechog. Worked my way down from the summit to rejoin the main path up to the top of Snowdon - would recommend as an alternative route from Llanberis.Cap_Thunderbolt21/07/2019

From Llanberis.Started up the Llanberis Path, then where the path goes through a gate I turned left to follow a wall up onto the ridge. Better scenery than the main path, but hard work with ups and downs, bogs and scrambles. Continued over Snowdon, Lliwedd and Gallt y Wenallt, and down to Pen y Pass. A long day. Missed the last bus back to Llanberis, so phoned a taxi from the YH(£15)andy6315/05/2019
