From Bloody Bridge. Slieve Donard, Slieve Commedagh, Slieve Corragh and Slievenagloch. Great day in good weather. lovely views. | Alunrees33 | 19/09/2017 |
10.5 mile walk in windy/sunny/overcast weather. Started at Bloody Bridge followed well defined path along Bloody Bridge River up to the Mourne Wall, from there slogged up to summit of Slieve Donard, busy on top, good views over most of Northern Ireland stretching far to Belfast, Strangford Lough, Lough Neagh and the Sperrins, also could see some of Ireland as well as the Isle of Man and maybe even Wales. Descended west from summit and climbed onto Slieve Commedagh (a lot less busier), descended the same way and followed Brandy Pad path back to Bog of Donard, climbed little trails onto Chimney Rock Mountain, descended to Bloody Bridge River and went down the same way back to car park. This was the last UK top I needed after completing Snowdon in 2008, Ben Nevis in 2014 and Scafell Pike back in March this year. | DanTrig | 25/06/2017 |

13th hill on Epic Mourne wall challenge walk starting from Carrick little car park. The ascent from Slieve Corragh was a steady plod with great views back to Ben Crom reservoir. The walk to the cairn from the Tower beside the wall is probably missed by a lot of people who opt to stay beside the wall but it was clearly visibly cairn but pretty windy as very exposed. Great views of Newcastle and other nearby towns and the sweep of the coastline. | Dazingdale | 22/07/2015 |
