Walk on way back to the ferry, really didn't need all the climbing over fences to do it the way we did but hey, it was done! Nice hill once we got onto it.nickywood117/05/2011
summit of cairn peat hags (cloudy). from Knockymullgurry to W (no-one about early a.m.), cattle path following fence thru gorse then steep deep heather RHW24/04/2005
Approximate date! Another spontaneous adventure with my buddy Dave. Drove on our motorbikes through Borris but didn't fancy the easier approach to Mount Leinster so followed the road around the base of the mountains, parked up and made a direct steep ascent of Blackstairs...lots of scrambling involved! The exuberance of youth!Gerry the Ranger20/06/1997
